Summary

Still Psyched Out delves into the alarming realities behind psychiatric diagnoses and the often-dangerous drugs prescribed to treat mental illnesses. Written by Kelly Patricia O’Meara, an award-winning investigative reporter and former congressional staffer, this book uncovers the fraudulent nature of psychiatric labeling and the risks associated with mind-altering medications.

O'Meara, known for her groundbreaking 1999 cover story, Guns & Doses, offers an insightful exploration of the link between psychiatric drugs and acts of violence. In this compelling read, she argues that these medications do not address any known abnormalities and can lead to serious side effects, including suicidality and homicidal ideation.

Still Psyched Out is essential reading for anyone considering mental health treatment options, providing crucial information to make informed decisions about your own and your loved ones' mental well-being.

Author Biography

Kelly Patricia O’Meara is an award-winning former investigative reporter for the Washington Times’ Insight Magazine, penning dozens of articles exposing the fraud of psychiatric diagnosis and the dangers of the psychiatric drugs—including her ground-breaking 1999 cover story, “Guns & Doses,” exposing the link between psychiatric drugs and acts of senseless violence. She is also the author of the highly acclaimed book, Psyched Out: How Psychiatry Sells Mental Illness and Pushes Pills that Kill.

Prior to working as an investigative journalist, O’Meara spent sixteen years on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer to four Members of Congress. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
