Author Biography

Martin Freed and Ruta Vaskys met on top of Mount Abraham in Vermont in 1976 and have been climbing mountains together ever since. They are the authors of Fishing Virginia and Fishing Maryland, Delaware, and Washington (both Lyons Press) and of numerous articles on a range of outdoors subjects for regional and national publications. They currently divide their time between Fairbanks, Alaska, and Quincy, Virginia.
