Summary

Author Biography

ASHLYN KANE is a world-traveling homebody defined by her contradictions: she loves chaos but craves order; she enjoys writing when she’s short on time. The folder where she keeps her novels in progress is filled with unfinished projects, as is her house. She’s on medication for ADHD to keep her moving forward.
Ashlyn was a precocious speaker and reader, and has always loved writing and storytelling. At age eight, she enrolled in her first writers’ workshop, as a teenager, she won an amateur poetry prize, and her greatest adult accolade was receiving a glowing review in Publishers Weekly for her novel Fake Dating the Prince .
Her hobbies include interior decorating, DIY, eco-friendly gardening (without pulling weeds), music, and cuddling with her enormous chocolate-colored dog. She is blessed with a wonderful husband, adorable parents and the biggest nerds on earth for a brother and brother-in-law.

MORGAN JAMES is a clueless millennial who is still trying to figure out what he will do when he grows up and enjoys life in the process. After earning a degree or two, spending time in Europe and trying different careers without success, he is eager to see what fate has in store for him. James started writing before he could spell, he was still a schoolboy when he finished his first (unpublished) novel. He has never stopped since. By turns Greek, artist, archer and fanatic, Morgan spends his free time in imaginary worlds, with characters from the books he reads or the movies he sees, an addiction as strong as his love of coffee and tea. He lives in Canada with a huge collection of books he hasn't read yet and is in the service of too many four-legged creatures.
