Summary

The author of this book, Van Dyke, was a strong supporter of Protestantism, which has always been at odds with the Roman Catholic Church. Although a religious man, he wastes no time in sharing his knowledge of the various schemes, deceptions, and shortcomings of the Roman Catholic faith and the pope in general.
