Chapter One
"Hi!I'm Mary-Kate Olsen, and I have an appointment."
I was standing in the offices of Girlz magazine, talking to the girl at the reception desk. She had bright red hair, friendly green eyes, and tons of freckles.
"Who are you here to see?" she asked, looking up at me.
"I'm supposed to meet with Ms. Fein," I told her. "She's the editor in chief-" I stopped, blushing. Why was I telling her who Ms. Fein was?
Anyone who worked here would know that!
"Mary-Kate Olsen," the girl repeated. She glanced down at the appointment book that sat open on her desk.
I peered at it and saw my name. "That's me," I said, pointing. "Right there."
