Author Biography

Stephanie Calmenson is the author of many books for children, including Dinner at the Panda PalaceThe Principal’s New Clothes, and What Am I? Very First Riddles. She is also the compiler, with Joanna Cole, of several anthologies, including The Read Aloud Treasury and A Pocketful of Laughs. Before becoming a full-time writer, she was an elementary-school teacher and a children’s book editor. She lives in New York City.
