Summary

Legends of the Buffalo Bills is much more than just a history of an NFL league team. It is the story of men who are ahead of their time and many who are now bigger than life. The players, coaches and owners who shaped this franchise have become the fabric and personality of the Bills. Who can forget Cookie Gilchrist and QB Jack Kemp, players who led the Bills to their first glory years, including back-to-back AFL titles in 1964-65. O.J. Simpson set a new individual rushing title with 2003 yards in 1973, and more recent names like Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith and Marv Levy have become synonymous with the Bills success. Included in these pages are many other memorable moments and characters, all of which make Legends of the Buffalo Bills a must read for all football fans. The rest, as they say, is history.
