He is the author of more than 95 scientific articles on nutrition and obesity and he is frequently quoted in magazines such as Good Housekeeping, Time, Mademoiselle, Men's Heath, Newsweek, and Reader's Digest. Dr. Kushner is a frequent lecturer and reviewer of medical journals.

Nancy Kushner, R.N., M.S.N. is a nurse practioner with 20 years of experience. She is a former director of education and program development for a health care agency.
