Summary

The major goal of this book is to facilitate the improvement of methods and practices for translating and adapting tests from one culture to another via the use of the International Test Commission (ITC) Guidelines for Test Adaptation. These guidelines were developed by a committee of scholars and practitioners selected by the International Test Commission, European Association of Psychological Assessment, the European Test Publishers Group, the International Language Testing Association, the International Union of Psychological Science, and the International Associations for Cross-Cultural Psychology, Applied Psychology (IAAP), and Evaluation of Educational Achievement.
